Information we collect

When you request a lesson, we collect:

• Your email address so we can deliver the lesson link.
• Your selected language, skill level, topic, and reinforcement terms.
• Limited technical and security information, such as a protected form of your IP address, request times, and abuse-prevention signals.
• Basic lesson events, such as opening a lesson or completing a quiz, so the service can function and be improved.

We do not ask for a profile, password, payment card, or long-term learner history.

How we use information

We use this information only to:

• Create and deliver the lesson you requested.
• Secure the private lesson link and show generation status.
• Prevent spam, excessive requests, and misuse.
• Diagnose failures and improve lesson quality and reliability.

We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.

Service providers and AI processing

Lingo may use service providers for AI generation, text-to-speech, storage, hosting, and email delivery. AI and voice providers receive the lesson preferences and content needed to generate the lesson. The email provider receives the address and delivery message needed to send your private link.

We configure providers through replaceable service adapters so MayoFlux can use local or hosted processing where appropriate. Providers process data under their own terms and privacy commitments.

Security and private links

Email addresses are encrypted at rest. Rate-limit lookups use protected hashes. Private lesson and status links use random tokens; only token hashes are stored. Links expire and may be revoked.

Anyone who has a private lesson URL may be able to open it. Do not forward the link to someone you do not want to access the lesson.

Retention

We retain requests, generated lessons, delivery records, and limited event data only as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain security, resolve failures, and meet legal obligations. Expired lesson links and associated media may be deleted.

Your choices

You may ask about, correct, or request deletion of personal information by emailing info@mayoflux.tv. We may need enough information to verify the request without exposing another learner's lesson.

Children and changes

Lingo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. We may update this policy as the service changes; the effective date above will identify the current version.
